The customer service policy of the public library of Reykjanesbær Starfsfólk

Here at the library our goal is to provide excellent customer services to our community. The keys words of this policy are:

Effective

Staff set friendliness and the commitment as priorities in seeking solutions. 

Positive

Library Staff are welcoming, friendly, and courteous with a show a positive attitude.

Ethical

Staff is held in confidentiality at all times while being responsible, honest, respectful and nonjudgmental. 
The appearance and conduct of the staff will be respectful and appropriate for the library.  

Reliable

The staff works to provide patrons with accurate and timely answers to queries and questions, usually within the first interaction. 

Professional

The staff members are knowledgeable and provide outstanding customer service.
