The home

This exhibition is about the home. A home can have a different meaning to each individual but one thing is always certain the home is important to us all.

In this exhibition we are concentrating on the period between ca 1950-1980. In this period people still had to make most of what was needed, cooking from scratch, knitting and sewing clothes, and creating things for decorations and gifts. These items are important for the museum to collect as they are one of a kind.
