On the occasion of the Night of Lights festival the Reykjanes Art Museum opens the exhibition “Future Memory” in Duus Museum Thursday September 1st at 6pm. The exhibition is a co-exhibition of four artists, Dodda Maggý, Elsa Dóróthea Gísladóttir, Ingirafn Steinarsson and Kristinn Már Pálmason.
Connections to crops, plants, systems and time are noticeable in their artworks but they all have for some period of their life lived in the Reykjanes area.
The result and the media they work with are however very different. In the exhibition you can see paintings, drawings, a floral installation and video art. The curator is Inga Þórey Jóhannsdóttir.
