Artwork from the Reykjanes Art Museum's collections

In recent years it has become a tradition that one of Reykjanesbær Art Museum‘s summer exhibition displays artwork from the the museum‘s collection. This year‘s summer exhibition displays work by artist Benedikt Gunnarsson. Last spring the museum received a gift from Benedikt´s family which included paintings and sketches of stained glass windows he made for Keflavík church in 1977. When the interior of the church was changed to its original look in 2012, the stained glass windows were taken down and placed in storage. Six of these windows are now on display in Duus Museum.
