Affection for Icelandic Nature!

The nature of Iceland in the eyes of two locals.

Fortunately there has never been any lack of admirers of Iceland‘s nature like this exhibiton reflects very well. Here we have on one hand 15 photgraphs taken by Oddgeir Karlsson, a local professional photographer, in various places on Reykjanes peninsula. On the other hand we have different types of Icelandic rocks from the collection of another local, the late Áki Gränz, who was a passionate rock collector. After Áki‘s passing the municipality of Reykjanesbær came into possession of his big collection of rocks along with a number of artworks made by Áki himself which will be shown at another time and another occasion.
